When a person married another person when the first marriage is subsisting then it is adultery and not named as second marriage.

When a spouse cause physical injury to other spouse which endangers life and limb then it amounts to physical cruelty.

Desertion

when a spouse deserts other spouse for a minimum period of two years or abandon other spouse without rendering conjugal rights is desertion.

Change of Religion

When a person undergone Hindu, Christian or Muslim changed their religion by conversion.

Renouncing world

When a spouse attaining sanyasa or renouncing world or determined completely to serve any religion.

Not Known for 7 years

When a spouse is not known for 7 years then the civil court will declare them as death person as civil death.
